Local Missions focuses on the immediate community surrounding our location and the Kansas City Metro area. We mobilize in various ways to serve through practical and spiritual means.
The Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is a community food bank that serves as a temporary means of obtaining groceries. It is open to public and no appointment is required!
Hours of operation:
Wednesday - 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Wednesday Evenings - 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Thursday - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Enter through the West doors of Central Church (12600 W. 87th St. Parkway, Lenexa, Kansas 66215).
Johnson County photo ID is required and you can use this resource once each calendar month.
The Food Pantry is able to serve those in our community thanks to generous donations and the dedication of many volunteers. If you are interested in making a donation to the Food Pantry view the Suggested Donations list for items needed or monetary donations can be given.

Shelter KC
Central ladies serve lunch at the Shelter KC Women’s Center on the fourth Friday of each month at 11 a.m.
