Dear Central Church,

I’m excited to share an update on the Kid’s Ministry Remodel. Central Church has always made big investments in ministry to our youngest disciples. This is made possible by the sacrificial and obedient giving of God’s people, and I know that this season in our church’s life together will be no different.

Here’s a video of Pastor Bethany Tibbs and I talking about the impact of this project.

We want to see every part of this remodel vision become a reality, which means we need to raise $50,000 over and above our regular tithes and offerings. Here’s where we are in that effort:

As of today, we have had 33 families commit $21,000 towards the effort. With 10 days to go, we’re almost halfway to this goal. Praise the Lord!

Our team is hoping to finalize contracts and scope of work in the next few days. If you haven’t done so already, please consider joining in this effort so that we can move forward with the full vision as presented.

I hope to see you Sunday as we continue the “Season” series by looking at one of my favorite “wisdom Psalms,” Psalm 37. There is a “cycle of victorious living” that sustains us in every season of life. The psalmist's admonition to “trust, delight, commit, and rest” is a life-giving rhythm, no matter what life throws at us!
